    Join us to... Raise Awareness and make a Difference

    Every year Dance It Up with Music families nominate a different charity to help raise awareness for, funds and hope to make a difference. We believe it is important to teach our students how lucky they are and strive to give them opportunities to give back to others. We host many different events for not only our Charity of Choice but for all different charities throughout the year and invite everyone to help make a difference!

     First Day School Foundation
    Our Charity of Choice for the 2015-2016 was The First Day of School Foundation. The mission of the First Day of School Foundation is to provide financial assistance for school-related and therapeutic expenses for Special Education students and families.     Joey’s Little Angels
    Our Charity of Choice for the 2014 – 2015 was Joey’s Little Angels. Joey’s Little Angels is a small organization making BIG things happen for families that are faced with the struggles of caring for a sick child.     Trenton Area Soup Kitchen
    Our Charity of Choice for the 2013 – 2014 was the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen.. TASK feeds those who are hungry in the Trenton area and offers programs to encourage self-sufficiency and improve the quality of life of its patrons. We will be helping those in our very own community through numerous events! Age appropriate volunteer opportunities will be available for students and parents.http://www.trentonsoupkitchen.org/

    Chad’s Heroes
    The 2012-2013 charity of choice is “Chad’s Heroes”. Chad’s Heroes raises money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Chad is a the 3 year old son of a local hamilton police officer. All proceeds raised go to help with research to hopefully better the quality of lives for future generations diagnosed with CF.     Big Brother Big Sisters of America
    The 2011-2012 charity of choice is “Big Brother Big Sisters of America” Big Brothers Big Sisters is not your typical organization. They help children realize their potential and build their futures. They nurture children and strengthen communities. And they couldn’t do any of it without you.     The Sunshine Foundation
    Our 2010-2011 Charity of Choice was “The Sunshine Foundation”. THe Sunshine Foundation’s sole purpose is to answer the dreams of chronically ill, seriously ill, physically challenged and abused children, ages three to eighteen, whose families cannot fulfill their requests due to the financial strain that child’s illness may cause. We are proud to announce thanks to the generosity of Dance It Up and it’s Dance Family we have been able to get 7 DREAM LIFT Seats for the children!!!     Ryan’s Quest
    Our 2009-2010 Charity of Choice was Ryan’s Quest. We were honored and privileged to have had the opportunity of working with such an amazing family. For more information to help fight and “Join the Quest” visitwww.ryansquest.org.

    Ronald McDonald House
    Our 2008-2009 Charity of Choice was the Ronald McDonald House. The RMHC helps children and families all through the world to stay together in their time of treatment or rehabilitation. This amazing organization is run by volunteers only.     Our 2007-2008 Charity of Choice was all the Men and Women who have and continue to service our country; Our Troops and Veterans. This was an amazing year and we are all proud to be Americans. In our “Dance for Freedom” Recital we collected and donated calling cards to send overseas to our troops. This helped give them the opportunity to connect with their families while they were away serving this great country. After all, Red, White, and Blue are the colors of our Logo!
